Management Accountant | Liverpool | Permanent | £45,000

Your new company

A leading healthcare services distributor, specialising in vaccinations and operating a pharmacy. The company experienced significant growth during the COVID-19 pandemic but downsized post-pandemic. They are now focusing on dieting jabs.

Your new role

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing management accounts, conducting financial analysis, and managing cash flow. You will work with Xero templates and bring VAT returns back in-house. This role is crucial for supporting the company's high growth plans, with the owner aiming to sell when turnover hits £100 million.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  5. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  6. Strong communication skills to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  7. Experience in a similar role within a commercial environment is advantageous.
  8. Strong skills and experience working with Xero
