Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) responsible for functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have advanced expertise in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and be capable of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation Strategy & Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript. Ensure scripts are optimized for performance, reusability, and maintainability.
2. Functional & Automation Testing: Conduct manual and automated testing, develop test plans, cases, and scripts for web applications.
3. End-to-End Testing & CI/CD Integration: Automate and execute end-to-end, UI, API, and regression testing; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
4. Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Testing: Verify applications across browsers, devices, and OS using Playwright.
5. Test Data & Reporting: Manage test data and generate reports with tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
6. Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams; participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in test automation and functional testing.
• Proficiency in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience testing SPAs and dynamic web apps.
• Hands-on with testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of API testing (Postman, REST).
• Optional: Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
