Would you like to work for a local solicitors with a long history and a friendly working environment? They are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their team. The role offers a salary of up to £28,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, death in service benefits, and free onsite parking.

Responsibilities of a Legal Cashier include:

• Processing financial transactions, including client payments and disbursements
• Maintaining records of all transactions and ensuring compliance with legal accounting standards
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Communicating with clients and colleagues to resolve discrepancies or queries regarding payments
• Handling outgoing payments (BACS, faster payments, CHAPS, and cheques), overseeing payment approvals, and managing queries
• Performing daily client bank reconciliations
• Ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions
• Managing shared query inboxes

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a similar Legal Cashier role
• Knowledge of SRA and AML regulations
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with ALB software (beneficial but not essential)
