Are you a compassionate Dietitian with experience working with people with mental illness? Join Thornford Park as a Dietitian.

Role Overview

As a Dietitian, you will support service users within the hospital’s secure mental health and learning disabilities services with a range of conditions. You will work as part of a uni-professional and multi-professional team to deliver dietetic services across the hospital.

You will support the implementation of the Hospital’s Nutrition and Hydration Strategy, helping people make informed, healthier choices regarding eating and drinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload, including assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluating outcomes in line with care plans.
• Engage in clinical supervision and training to develop your skills.
• Provide dietetic services on an individual and group basis.
• Maintain accurate records and establish effective communication with patients, carers, staff, and external agencies.
• Develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to support mental health recovery.
• Contribute to training and education initiatives.
• Collaborate with professional and clinical colleagues.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Dietetics
• HCPC Registration
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 & CPA
• Experience in a similar setting
