Business Development Lead
Location: Berkshire
Salary: Up to £100k + bonus
Are you a senior business developer, consultant or networker and looking for your next role?
We're supporting a UK Defence SME in hiring a Business Development Lead to take ownership of their Air & Space portfolio. The role will see you working directly with the CRO and taking accountability for the Air domain.
Building on existing relationships for the business, you'll be at the forefront of building new relationships across the RAF, Space Command and industry partners involved in some of the largest Air campaigns in the UK.
The role will see you very much at the front of the vertical and building the sales funnel through strategy, networking and events. As the lead for the domain, your role will very much situate yourself on bringing in and qualifying new labels before utilising the accounts and business development team to bring the customer and opportunity through to fruition.
Whilst the role will focus on the Air portfolio, the business is looking for individuals with a wealth of experience selling digital solutions to the UK MoD.
The business:
The business is one of the UK's most respected SMEs and produces a number of products and services currently integrated into HQ's and CAT A programmes. With multiple offices throughout the UK, they provide leading-edge technology that enables industry and MOD to better operate and deliver key programmes in the interest of National Security.
The position will blend a hybrid of time in the office in Berkshire, work from home, and most importantly being on the road at events, with customers and building key relationships within service and industry. As a scaling business with a well-founded reputation in the market, they offer the security of a Prime but with the agility and growth potential of an SME.
Background:
If you're looking for your next move and are interested in joining a scaling and agile business that is developing and deploying technologies on some of the most exciting programmes in the UK, then please get in touch for an informal conversation.
