We are looking for a Part-Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join our team at Garden Wise Garden Centre.

Our competitive pay rates range from £10 to £12.25 per hour, depending on age.

The position involves 21 hours per week over 3 days, including regular weekend shifts, so flexibility is essential.

The Role

As a Horticultural Assistant, you should have specialist plant knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service to create an exceptional shopping experience, helping customers make informed purchases.

Responsibilities include:

• Replenishing plant stock and merchandising to create attractive displays
• Looking after plants to ensure they are healthy and appealing
• Advising customers on suitable plants and products
• Operating tills and serving customers
• Performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
