Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.

We are recruiting an experienced Catering professional to lead our kitchen team at Scargill CE Vol Aided Primary School.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily kitchen operations including preparation, cooking, and service.
  2. Perform clerical duties using a digital management system.
  3. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  4. Contribute to creating positive lunchtime experiences for students.
Qualifications & Experience

Ideally, candidates should hold NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or have relevant experience, along with a sound knowledge of Health & Safety and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Additional Information

The starting salary within the grade is negotiable, depending on current salary, experience, or qualifications.

Provisional interview date: June 2025.
