Description

We are currently looking for a talented Legal Advisor to join our Sheffield office to provide legal advice as part of our Free Legal Advice service.

With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first-class service to our clients. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching, and training, as well as a nurturing environment where you can grow and shape your career.

We are open to applicants looking for both full-time or part-time work between Monday - Friday. Please let us know your circumstances, and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively capture all relevant information and provide general legal advice on a wide range of topics e.g., Family, disputes, and consumer law.
  2. Provide Union members with advice, guidance, and support related to a range of legal issues or concerns, responding to calls, emails, and messages professionally and promptly.
  3. Conduct legal research.
  4. Produce written materials such as fact sheets to be sent to Union members, confirming the advice given.
About You
  1. Attention to detail to provide a high standard of client care to each client.
  2. Experience in giving legal advice, both over the phone and email.
  3. Motivation for keeping abreast of key legal changes and proactively sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  4. Ability to show empathy and understanding, providing a professional legal service with a personal touch.
  5. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
