Job Description:

A high-growth, UK-headquartered digital media company is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join its expanding legal & compliance team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer with experience in litigation, criminal, or regulatory law to move in-house and work at the cutting edge of online safety, compliance, and legal strategy. You’ll be advising on high-impact legal matters and helping to shape processes that support global operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responding to law enforcement and regulatory information requests (e.g., subpoenas, warrants, data sharing requests)
  • Supervising internal analysts and managing legal disclosure workflows
  • Supporting litigation strategy and responding to legal complaints
  • Advising on GDPR and data-sharing matters
  • Drafting internal guidance, templates, and policies
  • Contributing to wider legal projects, including research, policy development, and process improvements

Minimum requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with approximately 1-3 PQE (other levels will also be considered)
  • Exposure to litigation, criminal, compliance, trust & safety or regulatory work
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • A team-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving business environment
