A leading company seeks a Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer to engage with clients, drive sales initiatives, and deliver innovative solutions. The role demands collaboration with sales teams and requires technical expertise in digital marketing and customer engagement. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer (MC SE) engages with customers ranging from operational marketing and IT teams to C-Level executives. The MC SE must perform as a trusted advisor and guide in delivering memorable customer experiences while knowledgeably positioning the business value of our solutions to all levels of audiences.
The Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer is part of the UKI Sales team, providing technology and industry expertise to customers and partners by crafting, packaging, and demonstrating innovative solutions that address key business challenges and help achieve critical metrics.
In addition to working on sales opportunities and supporting marketing initiatives, you will have opportunities to work on critical initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the Solution Engineering team and to grow your personal profile within Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
Success will be measured by the overall performance of the Sales team in growing annual revenues and providing solution expertise to support expanding the sales pipeline:
* Work closely with sales teams, partners, product, and industry specialists to plan and deliver sales campaigns, from technical discovery to closing
* Lead client discovery and workshop sessions to ensure solutions deliver customer success, address business challenges, and help achieve key metrics, providing a path to rapid ROI
* Present and demonstrate technical solutions passionately, understanding and solving business challenges to maximize customer value
* Deliver inspiring presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences, including during sales cycles and events like World Tour and Dreamforce
* Collaborate with Salesforce product management to understand solutions and roadmap, advise on sales strategies, and advocate for key features based on customer feedback
* Develop scalable, deployable, reusable, and relevant enablement assets to accelerate adoption across customers, partners, and sales teams
* Articulate the ROI of Marketing & AI solutions to partners and IT teams
* Stay informed about the latest innovations in customer experience management solutions
* Share successes and learning moments internally to maximize engagement impact
Essential Requirements
* Some experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Consulting
* Experience in Digital Marketing (B2C/B2B), Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platforms, or AI
* Autonomous, proactive learner and task prioritizer
* Comfortable working across multiple teams or independently
* Persuasive communication skills—verbal, written, presentation—capable of inspiring change
* Passion for storytelling and impactful presentations to bring customer engagements to life
Preferred Requirements
* Technical knowledge of Salesforce platform
* Expertise in CRM, Loyalty Management, Analytics, RTIM
* Coding skills: SQL, JavaScript, Python
* Experience with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, RedShift
* AI skills: Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Vector Databases, RAG, Agentic AI (a plus)
* Experience in post-sales implementations
