The Role

We are looking for an ambitious individual to work on one of GATTACA’s most prestigious client accounts, focusing on predominately Engineering & Manufacturing hires.

This is a major account for the business that we have recently had a multi-year extension on, in a varied and extremely interesting sector space! not to mention the chance to earn bonus on top of your base salary and truly take charge of your earning potential.

Unlike a traditional Delivery position, you will have direct contact with the end client, with the ability to influence and make a real impact on helping this global business expand.

And with around 300+ vacancies over the year, and working alongside an experienced (and very friendly!) team, it’s a fantastic opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and present potential candidates to fulfil clients requirements.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of client (or internal) expectations, offering a consultative service with regards to candidate sourcing, selection & management.
  • Proactively build hotlists of candidates to support current and future demand, using a range of advanced sourcing methods.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client organsation; continually developing your knowledge and offering advice/intel. to clients and colleagues regarding the candidate market.
  • Deliver the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction; building excellent relationships with candidates, relevant client contacts and key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, with the ability to handle complex or long-term offer to start scenarios .
  • Use a range of candidate attraction strategies that are relevant to both current and future requirements. This may include; advertising vacancies on job boards, developing a referral network, exhausting the existing database and utilising social media.
  • Continually generate candidate leads and market/client information, share with colleagues where relevant.
  • Support your leader in ensuring team and personal targets are achieved.
  • Occasional travel to client site/s required.
  • Previous Recruitment experience is essential for this role, we are open to people from 180 or 360.
  • We need an individual who is comfortable liaising with a broad range of stakeholders up to Director level in a global organisation.
  • There is a significant element of process in this position, so a keen eye for detail and organisation is essential.
  • Highly motivated, conscientious individual who displays initiative.
  • Excellent rapport and relationship building skills.
  • Able to perform under pressure and multi-task.
  • Ability to think laterally with regards to new candidate sourcing methods and process improvement.
  • Works well in a team and a busy environment.
  • Competent use of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Please be advised that due to the nature of the project, successful applicants may be required to undergo a DBS clearance.
