Job Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Designer / Product Manager who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and passionate about outdoor product design. You will play a key role in product development from inception to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Outdoor Leisure Sector, creating outdoor camping products, and sourcing in Asia. An interest in outdoor pursuits, especially camping, is advantageous.

Key Duties

1. Develop products from concept through sampling and delivery, adhering to timelines.
2. Source materials and manufacturers, manage cost models.
3. Maintain clear timelines linking team members and departments, including sales training.
4. Propose product ranges based on market trends and customer needs.
5. Visit suppliers worldwide (minimum 3 trips/year, approx. 10 days each) and attend trade exhibitions (2-3 events/year).

Candidate Requirements

• Strong negotiation skills and collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Understanding of colours, textile, and interior design.
• Interest in outdoor pursuits, especially camping, is beneficial.
