HGV Technician

Depot Location: Manchester

Working Hours: 0830pm to 0700am (40 Hour week) Monday to Thursday

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £23.85ph, £50,000 per annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician to join their experienced team.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  1. Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  2. Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  3. A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential.
  4. Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.
