Job description

Do you have a passion for storytelling on social media about brands? Are you resourceful, hands-on, proactive, and have an eye for content hooks and trends? If you're creative, can craft punchy copy, and understand platform-specific content strategies, we want to hear from you. We have an exciting opportunity for a social media content creator to join our Brand and Sponsorship team, designing and producing content for our social channels.

We're seeking someone with experience in a corporate environment who is eager to get creative with storytelling. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Photoshop is essential, as is the ability to capture, edit, and adapt video content for social media, providing design solutions as needed. The key requirement is creating engaging, scroll-stopping content across various formats, adhering to brand guidelines while making our visual identity as compelling as possible.

Please attach your portfolio as part of your application.

At AXA, we promote flexible working, allowing our team to balance home and office work effectively. You will be expected to work at least 40% of your week away from home, with the majority of your work from September 2025 being based in Bristol, Glasgow, or London. Flexibility can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Conceptualize, manage, and produce engaging content to showcase our brand across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  2. Create graphics and animations to tell our stories accessibly.
  3. Film and edit videos featuring brand ambassadors, Liverpool Football Club partnership, behind-the-scenes content, and senior leaders including the CEO.
  4. Use in-app tools to create and publish posts on TikTok and Instagram.
  5. Write compelling copy for videos, graphics, and social media posts to maximize engagement.
  6. Design content optimized for each platform to enhance viewer experience.
  7. Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate to understand business needs, overseeing content from creation to delivery.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early due to high application volume. If you're interested, apply promptly. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply if you're excited about the role.

What you'll bring:

  • Hands-on design experience and social media marketing knowledge, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • A self-starter with a creative storytelling approach and a social-first mindset.
  • Strong skills in photo/video editing, Adobe Suite, and Photoshop for rapid content creation.
  • Proficiency in editing software like Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop, and CapCut.
  • Excellent copywriting and content writing skills.
  • Visual design skills, including graphics, video production, or photography.
  • Experience sourcing UGC and capturing content across channels.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing schedules and working under pressure.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and advising on communication best practices.

Eligibility to work in the UK is a precondition for employment.

What we offer:

  • Salary between £40,000 and £45,000.
  • Performance-based bonus.
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12%).
  • Life Assurance (up to 10x salary).
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Option to buy or sell additional leave days.
