Requirements

• Qualified and/or Chartered in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in safely executing relevant construction works and understanding of the nuclear industry and safety cases.
• Develop and implement Engineering Management Plans for scope packages, ensuring technical requirements are met.
• Design and substantiation of heavy civil engineering and building structures to seismic codes, especially in dock structures.
• Knowledge of architectural design of industrial buildings, building services design, and construction techniques for nuclear safety structures.
• Strong understanding of engineering design, safety practices, and departmental procedures related to health, safety, design, and quality.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Discipline Lead in delivering structural engineering work packages, managing technical deliverables in line with planned scope, quality, schedule, and cost. The role is part of the Major Infrastructure Projects Business Unit.
