Qualifications

The Role:

The Relationship/Client Executive role is a key position in the Operations Team. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients, providing excellent customer service, and risk management. The role requires strong relationship building skills, a proactive approach to risk management, and the ability to assist in training and developing junior team members. It is suitable for individuals seeking to develop their career in Asset Based Lending within a growing challenger bank.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of clients, understanding their businesses and relationships with debtors.
  2. Administer ledgers, payment requests, and management information effectively and in accordance with policy.
  3. Proactively manage adverse outcomes from month-end reconciliation teams.
  4. Oversee daily balancing of the operating system.
  5. Input and process client payments through operating and banking systems.
  6. Assist with onboarding new clients.
  7. Maintain thorough records and provide feedback and reports to management.
  8. Deliver high-quality service to clients.
  9. Oversee maintenance of collateral funded by CBF.
  10. Understand CBF’s and the Bank’s products and services, and identify sales opportunities.
  11. Adhere to AML policies and procedures, maintaining vigilance over customer conduct.
  12. Minimum 18 months experience in a Relationship Executive role within Asset Based Lending.
  13. Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  14. Working knowledge of Dancerace or Risk factor.
  15. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable knowledge & Experience:

ABFA / UK Finance qualification to Certificate Level.
