NUVIA UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is rapidly growing, offering hybrid opportunities across the country. We aim to build a multidisciplinary team to provide our clients with the best talent.

Note: BPSS clearance at basic level is required; prior clearance is not transferable.

Activities

Perform engineering analysis, including calculations, for specific systems or electrical activities to produce necessary documentation for the HPC project.

Act as the central contact for system or electrical activities.

Main activities
  • Concatenate and verify input data for cabling activities.
  • Evaluate the maturity of input data provided by various engineers.
  • Produce documentation for cable lists, voltage plans, summary tables, and calculation notes.
  • Prepare documents for electrical sub-distribution sequences.
  • Monitor design deliverables ensuring compliance with EPR-E quality standards.
  • Draft client deliverables for site activities.
  • Manage open points, design changes, and interfaces, ensuring traceability and configuration management.
  • Report project progress and indicators to the team and client.
  • Represent EPR-E and support technical discussions with clients.
  • Oversee interfaces with cable list providers and ensure design consistency.
Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of EPR electrical cabling sequences.
  • Experience in producing design documentation.
  • Understanding of electrical cable sizing.
  • Relevant nuclear industry experience.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Proactive with strong remote communication abilities, especially with France and Germany.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of EPR electrical distribution design, I&C architecture, and Safety Classification.
  • Familiarity with Caneco tool.
  • Experience on operational plants or industrial sites.
  • French language skills for technical documentation.
