The role involves supporting the Deputy Head of Catering to achieve high standards in food preparation, cooking, and service for patients, staff, and visitors. The post holder will ensure quality and safety in all tasks, maintain personal hygiene standards, and assist with food prep at Ellesmere Port Hospital. Enhancements apply for weekend and holiday shifts.

It operates from three locations: The Countess of Chester Hospital, Ellesmere Port Hospital, and Tarporley War Memorial Hospital, employing over 6,258 staff and serving a population of approximately 407,000.
