The post holder will ensure quality and safety in all tasks, maintain personal hygiene standards, and assist with food prep at Ellesmere Port Hospital. Enhancements apply for weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to menu standards, maintaining food hygiene.
  2. Maintain records such as fridge and freezer temperatures, HACCP documentation.
  3. Implement food safety management systems.
  4. Follow recipes, minimize waste, and use ingredients economically.
  5. Delegate tasks to support staff and assist in training new staff.
  6. Check received food quality and quantity, control stock, and assist with ordering.
