Position: Vehicle Damage Assessor / Assistant Bodyshop Manager

This role involves inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing repair costs and times, preparing estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and repair teams. There is potential for progression into a management role.

Responsibilities include:
  • Inspect damaged vehicles and assess damage extent
  • Estimate repair costs and timeframes
  • Identify correct repair methods
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates
  • Obtain repair authorizations from insurance companies
  • Communicate effectively with customers and technicians
  • Support management and oversee repair processes
Requirements:
  • Experience in a busy accident repair centre preferred
  • ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3
  • Proficiency in Audatex and insurance repairs
  • Management experience is a plus but not essential
  • Experience in a body shop or accident repair environment
