What will you do? Make an impact!

Main purpose of the job:
Support radioactive waste projects by performing operational tasks aligned with business needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Radioactive Waste Plant Operations
• Waste Movements
• Housekeeping

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Radioactive Waste Plant Operations: 70%
• Carry out processing operations for applications such as cementation, super-compaction, size reduction, segregation, decontamination, and chemical processing. Flexibility to work at the Winfrith site and other locations as needed, including weekends and on a rota basis.

• Waste Movements: 15%
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and slings, following waste loading instructions in collaboration with the Appointed Person Lifting (APL).

• Housekeeping: 10%
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in operational areas, ensuring workspaces are left secure and tidy after tasks.
