About Our Client

This role is for a leading food manufacturer and distributor based across Nantwich and Newcastle and Lyme - Based depending on personal preference.

Job Description

  1. Contribute to a strong workplace culture that holds quality assurance at the core.
  2. Co-ordinate external and internal audit schedules, including supporting internal quality assurance specialists, external auditors, and customers.
  3. Co-ordinate quality management system aspects and ensure the application of its requirements.
  4. Apply document control practices in adherence to the quality management system.
  5. Analyze quality assurance and food safety data to identify trends to be monitored and actioned.
  6. Produce regular quality assurance trending and data reports in a digestible manner for colleagues at all levels of the hierarchy.
  7. Support the communication of quality assurance topics and agendas via the designated channels and feedback loops.
  8. Oversee the Quality Assurance SharePoint facility to ensure all colleagues have access to key elements of the quality management system, and that processes are streamlined.
  9. Co-ordinate the quality assurance governance structure, ensuring that meeting attendees, minutes, agendas, and actions are recorded and on track.
  10. Support the wider quality assurance team and operational stakeholders on related projects and action close out.
  11. Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to food safety, product legality, and quality.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Must have experience in data analysis and trending.
  2. 1 year experience in internal and/or external audit scheduling/planning.
  3. Preferably experienced within the food distribution or manufacturing industry.
