CNC Miller- Programmer/Setter/Operator

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 37.5 hours - Monday - Thursday - 4 day working week!

Salary: ££negotiable depending on experience

Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a better work-life balance? How does a 3-day weekend every week sound? Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to work 37½ hours over just four days (Monday to Thursday), giving you Fridays off!

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller with exceptional Programming and Setting abilities to join our client's small, dedicated team. You'll be working on their state-of-the-art Matsuura 5-axis milling machines.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyse parts produced, drawings or instructions to ensure a clear understanding of required specifications.
2. Take ownership of quality checks, recording outputs accurately to meet drawing specifications.
3. Monitor machine performance to achieve maximum efficiency and output.
4. Proactively seek and suggest improvements to enhance processes and productivity.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience with Fanuc controls.
2. Ability to program offline using Hypermill or OneCNC.
3. A sharp eye for detail and the capability to interpret complex technical drawings.
4. A team player with great problem solving skills.
