Solutions Architect (12 month FTC)

Cromwell Hospital (SW5 0TU) / Staines (TW18 3DZ)
Hybrid working

Up to £85,000 annual depending on experience

10% management bonus + other fantastic benefits

Full time 37.5 hours per week

As Solution Architect for the Cromwell Hospital, you’ll control the relevant knowledge and intellectual property of our core platforms and understand their data flows, capabilities, characteristics, potential and limitations. You will create compliant and robust solution architectures aligned with business requirements, technology strategy, regulatory requirements, and Bupa policy.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

As Solutions Architect at Bupa's Cromwell Hospital, you will:

  1. Control relevant knowledge and intellectual property of our core platforms and understand their data flows, capabilities, characteristics, potential and limitations.
  2. Understand and maintain data models and inter-system relationships, dependencies, and integrations.
  3. Create compliant and robust solution architectures aligned with business and legal requirements, as well as policy.
  4. Gather, analyse and manage business and solution requirements and translate them into functional and technical system designs across delivery projects.
  5. Deliver Architectural Designs, Prototyping, Business and Logical Views, System Activation/Deactivation/Replacement.
  6. Provide IT technology leadership through BG&UK IT principles and controls.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
  1. Extensive experience of working as a solution architect, with some experience as a business or solutions analyst, developer, tester or similar project environment.
  2. Experience of working across a broad range of technologies used in a hospital environment including relevant standards e.g. HL7, FHIR and DICOM would be desirable.
  3. ISEB certification or equivalent desirable but not a must.
  4. Understanding and experience of Requirements Management.
  5. Manages own time and allocations, with enthusiasm, following the BG UK IT strategic direction.
  6. Resilient in an unpredictable and demanding environment where work levels can rapidly change.
