Job Summary

As an HR Apprentice, you will work closely with the HR Director, gaining experience and guidance as you build your career in Human Resources. This apprenticeship provides a structured learning path, equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to become a confident HR professional.

This is a generalist role, offering exposure to all aspects of the HR function, including medical staffing, HR administration, and compliance. You will play an integral part in supporting key HR processes while developing a solid foundation in HR best practices.

The successful candidate will be based at our Bewdley Medical Centre and will be enrolled in a CIPD-accredited Level 3 HR Apprenticeship Programme, combining academic study with real-world HR experience.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated HR Apprentice to join our small, supportive team and gain hands-on experience while working towards a CIPD Level 3 qualification.

As an HR Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting the entire employee life-cycle from recruitment and onboarding to career development and compliance. You'll work closely with managers to implement a staff bank and support both medical and administrative staffing processes.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical HR experience, develop essential skills, and contribute to an organization that values its people.

Wyre Forest Health Partnership: one successful and ambitious health partnership working at scale together to provide high-quality, innovative patient care, delivered by a valued and respected team.

WFHP has been operating since December 2014 as a single partnership, out of 5 surgeries, 3 of which are purpose-built. We operate at scale and are at the forefront of primary care delivery, managing approximately 250 employees and 50 GPs, caring for about 72,000 patients. We have a strong quality improvement ethic and are always looking to improve.
