Aspiring Therapist / Psychologist Role

Are you passionate about mental health and supporting children with Autism? A fantastic specialist school in Oxford is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Assistant to join their team. The school supports children aged 4 to 16 with Autism and associated mental health needs such as anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation challenges.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you'll work alongside therapists, psychologists, and teaching staff to support students' emotional wellbeing. Mental health is a core focus of this school's approach, with therapeutic interventions, tailored wellbeing programmes, and daily mental health support integrated into the school day. You'll help deliver 1:1 and small group sessions, assist with therapeutic activities, and provide consistent emotional support to students who need it most.
