At Independent Search Solutions Ltd we currently have a position for a Clinical Support Specialist within my clients Urology / Gynaecology Division.

You will ideally be based in Belfast or within commuting distance of all the major urban centres across NI. This role will also involve some travel to Dublin and the rest of Ireland as and when required.

Full training will be supplied on all my clients Gynae & Urology Devices and Equipment, but you must have a min. of 2 Years previous clinical experience.

I am ideally looking for a Scrub Nurse who has worked within Gyane / Urology, has a broad understanding of the equipment involved and has worked with Consultant Level Healthcare Professionals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Nurse who wants to break into a commercial role as the Clinical Support Specialist often progress into Surgical Sales, offering improved remuneration.

Job Title: Gynaecology / Urology Clinical Support Specialist

Territory: Belfast / Ireland North

Package:

• £40k – £45k Basic (Dependent on Experience & Open to Negotiation)
• Commission £8k- £9k

Role:

The Clinical Specialist will support sales and market objectives by promoting a range of Gynae Devices to Key Opinion Leaders and Large Hospital Groups across the Territory. There will be 12 weeks in-hospital observational training, where you will be shadowing an experienced Territory Manager who will be clinically supporting cases.

Duties:

• Provide customers with technical advice and appropriate training on the safe and effective use of the company’s products and surgical techniques
• Engage with both existing and new HCP to develop robust sales opportunity pipeline and advise appropriate sales leads
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer activity on the company’s CRM system, including information on customer usage, purchasing protocols and relevant competitor activity, working jointly with the appropriate Territory Manager/Sales Lead
• In addition to the customer facing activity, the Clinical Specialist will also support the development of product & procedure knowledge with the sales team. This may be teaching in a theatre setting, classroom teaching, or involvement in our Induction Training Programme

Experience:

• 2-5 Years’ experience specifically in Female Healthcare
• Full Clean Driving License
• Specific experience in Urology, Gynaecology Devices essential
• Very keen to talk with Scrub Nursing staff looking to break into Surgical Support
