Project Manager – Finance Business Systems / Infrastructure
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week)
Salary: Up to £58,200 + benefits
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of finance business systems and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and priorities.
- Manage system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements across financial functions such as purchasing, payments, and sales.
- Oversee server and operating system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate with technical teams, third-party suppliers, and business stakeholders to drive project success.
- Ensure projects align with compliance, security, and business continuity requirements.
- Maintain clear project documentation, risk management, and reporting to key stakeholders.
Experience required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager leading end-to-end projects.
- Experience managing financial business systems projects (payroll, purchasing, invoicing systems, etc.).
- Previous experience of managing infrastructure projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in structured project environments (Agile, Waterfall, Prince 2 methodologies).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results.
- Knowledge of financial services processes is a plus but not essential.
- Previous experience in system implementations, upgrades, or process transformation is highly desirable.
