Job description

Due to continued growth and ongoing success, this respected specialist insurance broker is seeking an additional team member to join them and work as part of a team of experienced brokers and account executives in the provision of professional indemnity insurance to clients.

Key responsibilities:

1. Deal with new and existing commercial professional indemnity insurance risks.
2. Develop your knowledge of the PI insurance marketplace.
3. Provide quotations and renewals, deal with MTA’s, market submission, presentations, etc.
4. Work independently, with the wider team, and alongside Account Executives and Directors.
5. Attend networking and conference events.
6. Build strong insurer and client relationships.
7. Attend client visits, where appropriate.
8. Ensure records remain compliant and up to date.
9. In line with client requirements, provide a tailored service.

Experience:

1. A track record within the commercial insurance marketplace.
2. A knowledge of, or willingness to train in the specialist PI Sector.
3. Team player who is confident, ambitious, and looking to progress within the industry.
4. Confident in building relationships and negotiating with insurers and clients.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to time-manage.

9. Support towards gaining your CII and ACII qualifications.
