Candidates will need to be located on the EAST-COAST Region of the US.

Base pay - $115,000-120,000 plus incentive plan

How you'll add value...

The Informatics Sales Specialist will be responsible for the development and growth of Limfinity Biobanking LIMS & FreezerPro product lines/customer base in the US East-Coast region. The role will lead all sales related facets of strategic alignment, relationship management, sales process, and engagement to support the growth of the Informatics business. The objective of this role is to develop an integrated relationship model and sales approach that can allow Azenta to partner with targeted customers in a solution-based delivery model.

Located remotely in US (East Coast area) with an anticipated 50% travel.

What you'll do...

  1. Explore and discover informatics growth opportunities and assist in the development of the associated business case for growth, both organic and inorganic.
  2. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the customer from a strategy, financial performance, compelling event (news/developments of relevance to Informatics), and relationship standpoint.
  3. Coordinate engagement and planning with Azenta's colleagues on an overall customer engagement approach that leverages all assets of the Informatics offerings to align and contribute to a comprehensive solution approach.
  4. Contribute to solution design and approach once customer need is defined (current, desired, and future state). Work closely with development and solutions teams to balance schedule, risk and escalation and ensure trade-offs are properly managed to deliver business growth.
  5. Partner with key stakeholders to build the brand of the company as a premier provider for the Global Strategic account clients.
  6. Advise senior management on developments within the marketplace, competitive intelligence, emerging trends impacting clients and innovation/strategy development as we bring new solutions to market.
  7. Manage the creation and follow-up of sales proposals with the Sales Operations organization.
  8. Manage and maintain a customer lead database within Salesforce CRM in a timely and accurate manner.
What you'll bring...
  1. Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  2. Minimum 5 years consultative LIMS/Informatics sales experience with history of selling to C or D level contacts within the Academic, Pharmaceutical and/or Life Sciences industry.
  3. Natural 'self-starter' mentality.
  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  5. Proven sales track record with large account management program opportunities.
  6. Proven track record of building and maintaining trusted and strategic relationships with clients.
  7. Expert in managing complex, long term, global account relationships in team and solution-based selling environments.
  8. Willing and able to travel overnight as required (approx. 50%).
