Job Description
  1. Support delivery of our Eligibility Services contract work via online, telephone, and postal applications.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for applicants and system administrator for the NEC system to input and process applications.
  3. Process applications, queries, and payments using the computerized NEC interface, ensuring professionalism, accurate data recording, and timely processing.
  4. Liaise with applicants to process information into the Northgate System.
  5. Undertake eligibility checks with applicants, seeking information directly and utilizing digital interfaces for confirmation.
  6. Understand the legislation and criteria involved in various eligibility services.
  7. Comply with the Processing Services Customer Charter when handling calls.
  8. Complete statistical information as instructed by the Service Manager.
  9. Support system access requests and assist customers accordingly.
  10. Work as part of a team to meet targets set by the Service Manager.
  11. Respond to enquiries from clients, citizens, and colleagues professionally.
  12. Share knowledge to ensure continuity in your absence, with proper handovers.
Qualifications
  1. Experience in contact/processing center work.
  2. Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
  3. Excellent telephone manner.
  4. Knowledge of service center processes, policies, and procedures.
  5. Strong computer skills, especially with Google Mail, Google Drives, Google Forms, etc.
  6. Excellent communication and written skills.
  7. Proven track record of meeting operational targets.
  8. Well organized.
