Our client is a large-scale, market-leading digital print-based manufacturing business that produces 10,000 products daily, with a history spanning over 50 years. They are seeking a Manufacturing Manager with a background in digital printing or engraving to be based at their manufacturing plant in Nottinghamshire. The role is Monday to Friday, working days.
Applicants should have experience in the digital printing industry and managing production within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques.

Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of production to meet KPI targets and achieve monthly sales targets by value and volume.
- Establish and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to minimize order backlogs and ensure service delivery aligns with KPI targets.
- Provide clear and concise reports on manufacturing progress, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
- Deliver motivational coaching, support, and personal development initiatives for manufacturing staff.
- Develop a flexible team capable of adapting to changing business needs, nurturing talent, and implementing succession planning.
- Create and monitor production metrics to support KPI achievement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, maintaining accreditations, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Essential qualifications & experience
- Background in Digital Print Industry or Engraving Industry.
- Experience in a senior management role such as Production Manager, Operations Manager, Factory Manager, or Manufacturing Manager.
- Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Significant experience managing in a large manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques.
