Fruition IT is working with a well-established, tech-first business undergoing a complete technical transformation. This client is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to develop a bespoke software platform as part of their growth strategy.

The Backend Software Engineer will be responsible for building a custom SaaS product and creating a low-latency, high-performing connected platform. The role involves working with Terraform (infrastructure as code), Node.js (backend framework), and deploying on an AWS platform.

What will I be doing?

1. Define and analyze business requirements.
2. Support continuous improvement and deployment integrations.
3. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and testers to develop unit code.
4. Work within an AWS environment.

Key requirements:

• Experience with React (desirable).
• Understanding of Terraform as infrastructure as code.
• Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
