Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer – Belfast

£45 to £55K + Package

Home to the world’s first air-conditioned building, Belfast has remained at the forefront of innovation within the built environment. Opened in 1903, the Royal Victoria Hospital’s plenum air conditioning system was way ahead of its time as it cleaned air and controlled both temperature and humidity to provide greater comfort for staff and patients.

Due to planned growth, there is now an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established, Building Services Consultancy in Belfast. Widely acknowledged as one of the leaders in the design of complex healthcare, custodial and leisure projects; they continue to innovate and set new industry standards.

Led by a supportive, hands-on, and friendly Director, their Belfast office has experienced steady growth over the past decade. They secure virtually all their work by repeat business as their clients value their expertise, approach, and level of detail and quality in the designs they produce, and the exceptional aftercare they provide to operational buildings.

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you’ll work in a team of around 20 MEP and Sustainability experts, on the design and delivery of complex projects. You’ll be supported by the Director and/or Associate Director as and when you need it, whilst also having access to over 100 other MEP Design Engineers located across the UK to help you with project delivery.

Your progression will be straightforward as you progress from Senior to Associate within two years and you will be fully supported along every step of this journey.
