ClinChoice is seeking a Principal Biostatistician to join our biometrics team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a REMOTE option in the UK.

ClinChoice is a global full-service CRO committed to quality, professional development, and a supportive culture. We are recruiting a Principal Biostatistician responsible for protocol development and creating statistical analysis plans for assigned studies. Additional responsibilities include providing statistical oversight to ensure quality and consistency with project requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop protocols, including study design, sample size calculation, randomization, and statistical analysis plans for assigned studies.
  2. Provide statistical oversight to studies, ensuring quality and consistency with project requirements.
  3. Ensure data for statistical analyses are complete, accurate, and consistent.
  4. Develop statistical analysis plans and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of statistical input into reports and decisions.
  5. Validate analysis methods and explore alternative strategies as needed.
  6. Demonstrate extensive understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, recognizing and correcting flaws in scientific reasoning and statistical interpretation.
  7. Ensure accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, data listings, report texts, and maintain consistency between summary tables and source data.
  8. Prepare the statistical methods section of reports, correcting common flaws and ensuring adherence to guidelines and project-wide consistency.
  9. Mentor peers in statistical methodology and provide training to less experienced statisticians.
  10. Manage activities of statisticians across projects by coordinating assignments and reviewing work to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. PhD with 3-5 years of experience or MS with 7-8 years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively interact internally and with clients.
  • Understanding of statistics, drug development processes, and relevant FDA regulations.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or related industry with clinical trials, including interaction with regulatory agencies such as the FDA.
