Passenger Assistant Role and Responsibilities

• Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres.
• Work effectively, safely, and flexibly to support the operation of the company.
• Establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and key contacts at their establishments.
• Assist the driver in operating company-supplied vehicles, including cars, 8-seat people carriers, and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• Be patient and empathetic with passengers, ensuring they are occupied and comfortable during journeys.

Passenger Assistant Requirements

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check, as this role involves working with children, young persons, and vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be willing to undertake first aid training and be open to becoming medically trained as a specialist if needed.
