Meraki Talent is currently working with a leading Investment Management firm to help them identify a Head of Prudential.

Reporting to the CFO and meeting their SMF responsibilities, your duties will include:

  1. The management of capital allocation and maintenance, as well as the firm's regulatory reporting under the regulatory system.
  2. Managing the firm’s recovery plan and resolution pack, along with internal governance processes.
  3. Overseeing internal stress tests and ensuring timely, accurate information is provided to the FCA, PRA, and other regulatory bodies for stress testing and staff incentive schemes.
  4. Taking ownership of, and responsibility for, preparing key prudential regulatory documentation.
  5. Ensuring submissions are made on time and meet high standards.
  6. Raising awareness of regulatory changes across the group and developing responses.
  7. Acting as the day-to-day contact with the Prudential Regulation Authority and supporting the CFO in meeting regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  8. Reporting and escalating matters related to the firm's capital resources to the CFO and Board.
  9. Leading the preparation of the annual Group Pillar 3 disclosure, semi-annual Key Metrics disclosures, and MIFIDPRU disclosures, including presenting these to the risk committee, executive committee, and boards for approval.
  10. Overseeing the annual ICAAP and ICARA processes, aligning with ILAAP documents, and liaising with relevant committees and boards regarding stress testing and results presentation.

  • Experience in prudential regulation, including capital and liquidity reporting (essential).
  • Ability to interpret and communicate legislative instruments (essential).
  • Team and stakeholder management experience (essential).
  • Degree-level education (desired).
  • Experience in managing a team.
