Job Title: Site Engineer / Senior Engineer - Structural Steel

  • Location: UK Wide

  • Employment Type: Permanent

  • Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site / Senior Engineer to join a market-leading main contractor within their steel fabrication division. This is a long-term, permanent role focusing on structural steel projects, including steel frame extensions. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out on-site and ensuring project accuracy and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out the site using surveying equipment
  • Ensuring precision in site measurements and structural alignment
  • Collaborating with the project management team to meet project milestones
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, particularly with structural steel projects
  • Proficiency in setting out and surveying techniques
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and health & safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Engineering Degree is preferred but not essential, if you have significant structural steel experience
