FIELD SUPPORT MERCHANDISER - EDINBURGH

HADDENHAM, GB, HP17 8LB

Field Support Merchandiser – Edinburgh

Salary: £25, + Company Van (new fleet due to be rolled out) vehicle can be used for personal use, Fuel card provided with claimable rate in line with pump costs

Tax-free expense allowance: £520pa in addition to salary

Schwartz is currently looking for a full-time Field Support Merchandiser to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

Working 40 hours each week Monday – Saturday (with Wednesday off). This role offers some flexibility, especially with start time. No Sunday work scheduled; work during Christmas is paid double. Some overnight stays are required, with workdays from Monday to Friday when away.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage store contact relationships within major supermarkets like Tesco, ASDA, and Morrisons.
  • Use technology to maintain product availability and record execution in store.
  • Deliver stock daily to ensure 100% shelf availability and compliance with store plans.
  • Maintain store records including inventory.
  • Support other brands in the McCormick family when required.
Candidate Profile
  • Full UK driving license (essential), right to work in the UK, and a UK bank account.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to stay away from home when required (expenses covered).
  • Positive attitude and relationship management skills in stores.
  • Enjoy being on the road and working autonomously.
  • Team player who shares ideas and practices to drive success.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable using technology.
  • Physically active, enjoying the physical aspects of the role.
  • Experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality (e.g., bar staff, waiting staff) is a plus.
