Senior Architect Job in Bermondsey, London

A Senior Architect job is now available with an AJ100 practice in London! This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team working on conservation and cultural projects throughout the UK! The role offers hybrid working and excellent benefits!

Role & Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage conservation and cultural projects, ensuring sensitive design responses
  2. Support project leads in the day-to-day management of projects across all RIBA stages
  3. Collaborate with public and private sector clients, trusts, museums, and heritage bodies
  4. Work with specialist consultants, conservators, and craftspeople to develop sensitive solutions
  5. Act as contract administrator during the construction phase where required
Required Skills & Experience
  1. ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in the UK
  2. Proven experience working on conservation and cultural projects such as listed buildings, museums, galleries, heritage sites, or ecclesiastical buildings
  3. Strong design, technical, and detailing skills, with project-running experience
  4. Knowledge of UK planning and building regulations, particularly in relation to heritage and conservation projects
  5. Experience managing budgets, planning applications, and listed building consents
  6. Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  7. Proficiency in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS is essential
  8. Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
