Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estates and Facilities Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and maintaining the park’s estate and facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and accessible to visitors.

As national parks are increasingly vital in addressing societal challenges such as climate change, accessibility, and health and well-being, this is a great opportunity to join an ambitious organization making a real impact.

About you:
  • You will have a professional qualification in a property management-related discipline or significant experience.
  • You will have excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation and experience dealing with health and safety issues relevant to a public authority.
  • Experience in the practical management of public sites and buildings, with a sound knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Experience in contracting services, including production, tendering, managing, and monitoring contracts.
  • Experience managing and developing a portfolio of sites in a commercial environment.
