Data-Core Systems is a successful provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services, primarily working with small and medium enterprises and government organizations. We are currently seeking an experienced Information Technology Sales Manager - Government.

This role is crucial for driving the growth of our Information Technology Consulting business within the State of New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, established relationships with key contacts within the State, and a talent for cultivating new contacts. Comfort with inside sales and efficient lead pipeline management are essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop strategic relationships with clients across various State Government departments.
  2. Collaborate with Team Leaders and Senior Management to identify potential clients.
  3. Proactively generate new business opportunities aligned with our growth strategy.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven track record of consistent sales growth through new account acquisition, positioning as a strategic advisor.
  • Deep understanding of our company's vision, priorities, capabilities, and specialties.
  • Ability to present our services effectively, highlighting our team of specialized recruiters.
  • Experience in researching and building relationships with decision-makers at management and C-suite levels.
  • Skill in managing the sales pipeline to ensure opportunities are closed.
  • Ability to track and record sales activities in our CRM system.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business required; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant IT sales experience, especially in managed services, cloud/software, or security services.
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills, with effective sales formulation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands with flexibility.
  • Strong initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
