Job description

Do you live in or around Brentwood and Hertfordshire areas and can travel into London?

Are you happy to work nights, Sun - Thurs (9 hours per night), and seeking a Refrigeration Case Cleaning role within a progressive, forward-thinking company? (Our working patterns are generally between 6 pm - 3 am or 7 pm - 4 am)

Have you worked in a maintenance role before or within manual labor?

Are you flexible with travel distances, usually around 1-2 hours each way, but sometimes 2-3 hours?

If so, we may have the perfect position for you.

• Salary: £33,147 per annum (including a shift allowance of £3,595)
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
• Additional earnings through enhanced overtime rates
• 4% bonus, subject to targets (historically paid)

Your role involves assisting within a team to carry out refrigerated cabinet cleaning across an assigned area to meet standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning refrigerated cabinets
• Working during busy periods (Christmas, Easter, etc.)
• Removing and replacing back plates and base shelves
• Using jet washes for cleaning
• Unblocking drains with vacuums
• Completing daily location audits

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience in refrigeration case/unit cleaning in a commercial environment or industrial cleaning (training can be provided)
• Previous maintenance or manual labor experience
• Basic refrigeration maintenance skills (advantageous but not essential)

Other factors:

• Full UK/EU driver’s license and flexibility to work as needed
• Sunday to Thursday night shifts, 9 hours per night
