Job Opportunity: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

We are a well-established rural general medical practice located in the historic coastal town of Arbroath, surrounded by spectacular scenery and countryside. Our location offers convenient links to London via the East Coast main line and easy access to the rest of Scotland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and driven Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our busy, friendly team. The successful candidate will provide compassionate care for our patients and contribute to our evolving model of healthcare delivery.

Key Features of Our Practice:

• Use of Vision and Docman systems
• Practice code: 9720
• In-house minor surgery, coil/implant fitting, and joint injections
• Undergraduate teaching practice
• No out-of-hours service; extended hours available (one GP or ANP until 6.30 pm, five evenings per week)
• Practice pharmacy support
• Daily team huddles including GPs, ANPs, DNs, and other team members
• Weekly multidisciplinary team meetings with District Nurses, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Community Mental Health staff
• Enhanced community support services
• Peer support service (Penumbra) within the practice
• Social Prescriber in the practice
• Direct access physiotherapy service

The successful candidate will be involved in nurse-led triage, home visits, and clinical initiatives aimed at improving service delivery for our patient population.
