The Company

We're representing a high-growth tech licensing firm that has doubled its revenue in the last year. Future plans are equally ambitious, including international expansion. The company operates in a niche market, which will be a significant attraction for some candidates. You will oversee a multi-disciplined team working on Mobile, Web, and eCommerce products.

This is a critical hire for their Senior Management team. You will lead all aspects of managing a high-performing team and have the opportunity to remain hands-on when necessary.

The Role

The company develops products licensed to clients across the UK. Your responsibilities include mentorship, strategic direction, architecture, product leadership, and planning. Maintaining hands-on involvement is important to ensure high standards of output, and a passion for delivering quality software is essential.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable software.
• Define and execute the technical strategy focusing on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams on mobile, web, and commerce projects.
• Champion best practices within the department.
• Remain technically involved through code reviews, architectural guidance, and complex problem-solving.
• Preferably have a background in Software Engineering with experience in Typescript, AWS, React/Vue/Node.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced, distributed environments.
• Deep technical knowledge in Javascript, Mobile, Web, cloud-native development (ideally AWS), Microservices, and Data projects.
