We are seeking enthusiastic, GPhC registered Pharmacy Technicians to join developing pharmacy teams to deliver pharmacotherapy services within Aberdeenshire H& SCP. The role involves remote working to support local teams of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The ideal candidates will work well within a team, follow guidance, and work independently. With on-the-job support and training, successful candidates will gain experience in medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries (including management of shortages), and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing.
Candidates may come from a community or hospital pharmacy background or have experience working within GP Practices as a Pharmacy Technician. Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential. A full driving license and use of a car are required.
Postholders will work across a wide area, involving onsite work in GP Practices and remote work from an agreed base. The specific bases and areas of work will be discussed at the interview.
