Position Summary:

Our VP of Sales for our Puppet brand is looking for an Account Director to join the team to drive business growth in the UK & I territory and become part of a rapidly growing region. At Puppet, we are committed to our work, customer-obsessed, live by our values, and are passionate about our product.

The Account Director creates, identifies, and closes sales for Puppet Enterprise and accompanying services within the UK & I region. This individual will represent Puppet and drive revenue, requiring a strong closer who can generate a large pipeline quickly and work with both existing clients and new logo opportunities.

We seek seasoned team players—hungry, nimble, and intelligent—with the ability and willingness to close complex enterprise and transactional deals.

Meaningful work you'll contribute...
  • Create and drive revenue in UK & I and own the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure
  • Actively prospect to develop opportunities in assigned accounts and prospects
  • Ensure successful roll-out and adoption of Puppet Enterprise through strong account management and coordination with pre and post-sales teams
  • Generate business opportunities through networking and cold-calling, collaborating with SDR and BDR teams
  • Travel within the UK & I region and occasionally to the US for meetings and training
  • Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking and associations
  • Own the sales cycle and develop strategic territory business plans
  • Maintain forecast accuracy within Salesforce

Valuable experiences and skills you'll bring to Puppet
  • 8+ years in enterprise software or solution sales to Fortune 500 or similar
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, enterprise automation, and business acumen
  • Experience in complex platform sales with multiple buying centers
  • Experience selling DevSecOps, CloudOps solutions is highly preferred
  • Established relationships with CIOs and CISOs
  • Experience in demand generation for new products
  • Experience in continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell within a matrixed sales organization; infrastructure/cloud sales experience is desirable
