Job Title:

Lecturer/Teacher in Multi Trades/Property Maintenance

Location:

North Harbour Campus, Portsmouth

Salary:

Up to £29,074.42 - £42,579.53 per annum, Full Time Equivalent

Job Type:

Sessional, Permanent

Hours of work:

Up to 35 hours per week (inclusive of teaching and prep time), up to 52 weeks per year

About the role:

The Lecturer in Property Maintenance will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons, and support students' learning journeys. A teaching qualification is beneficial but we can provide training and support for qualification achievement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach on various programmes, providing high-quality learning tailored to students' needs
  • Offer flexible assessment opportunities and monitor student progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development and programme delivery
  • Develop annual schemes of work and training plans
Candidate Requirements:
  • Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Good Maths and English skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • NVQ in Brickwork, Carpentry, or Plumbing
  • Knowledge of Painting & Decorating, Tiling, and Basic Electrical systems
