We are looking for a highly motivated salesperson to join our external sales team.

Role Overview

We seek a driven sales professional experienced in fieldwork to execute the New Build sales strategy across East and West Midlands, Hertfordshire, and parts of Mid Wales. This role is crucial for gaining specifications, conversions, and driving sales growth within housebuilders, contractors, and merchant networks, all while delivering excellent customer service and strengthening our market position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales plan prioritizing national developer groups and maximizing territory potential.
  • Achieve specification generation, pipeline, and conversion targets, recording project data in our CRM system and tracking opportunities from inception to order.
  • Report on market and competitor activity regularly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key regional customers and develop strategic account plans.
  • Collaborate with Bid-Writer/Channel Manager to create tailored solutions that meet customer needs and maximize business returns.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the territory, especially in the New Build sector.
  • Deliver sales plans through regional and national accounts, ensuring effective communication with contractors.
  • Create a contact matrix of decision-makers and influencers within designated housebuilders and their contractors.
  • Align with Kohler Mira's cultural values, focusing on customer satisfaction and personal development.
  • Maintain customer teardowns and annual action plans for strategic developers, conducting regular account workshops.
  • Utilize corporate hospitality and participate in events to strengthen relationships.
Skills and Requirements
  • Experience in external or field sales, including journey planning and overnight travel (~1 night/week).
  • Business acumen with an understanding of profitability drivers.
  • Proven success in sales growth, negotiation, and data analysis.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across multiple levels, with experience working with external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach, prioritization skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Valid UK driving license.
Desirable but Not Essential
  • Experience in specification roles and stakeholder management within the industry.
  • Kitchen & Bathroom industry experience.
