A leading company in the cleaning chemicals sector is seeking a Technician Manager to oversee engineering activities and manage a team of Technicians. The role involves ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, driving operational performance, and improving production line effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have management experience and relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications.
As Technician Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day engineering activities and management of the Shift Technicians running across 3 shifts, with a team of up to 10 engineers reporting to you. Your focus will be ensuring that reactive and corrective maintenance comply with all standards and are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This is a key role supporting the achievement of primary site KPIs.
You will work alongside the Maintenance Leader, responsible for Preventative maintenance, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will coordinate closely as part of the engineering management team to drive improvements across the board.
