Your new company

Hays are delighted to be partnering with a superb US-owned manufacturing business with an international presence based in Warwickshire. The company has superb offices and an enviable reputation in their niche markets.

Your new role

We are keen to speak to QBE or Qualified VAT Accountants for this very niche role. Key duties include:

  1. VAT returns for assigned entities and prepare the corresponding paperwork for payment.
  2. Prepare the related balance sheet reconciliations for VAT & Tax, and the related journals to clear the balance sheet reconciling items.
  3. Complete Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting.
  4. Establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors.
  5. Support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team.
What you'll need to succeed

You will be a VAT specialist with strong technical skills and knowledge of overseas VAT and reporting with experience from an advisory role, tax authority, or industry.
